The Prince's Trust

Daisy Communications has donated almost £7,500 to The Prince's Trust following months of fundraising.

The trust's commercial director for the North West, Richard Marsh, visited Daisy's offices, on the Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson, on Monday to be presented with a cheque for £7,426.

The money had been raised following fundraising activities undertaken between April and October this year.

At the beginning of October Daisy organised a charity raffle, raising £3,000 after donating a signed England shirt, signed football and a bottle of champagne.

In addition, the communication firm donated an additional £4,426 after pledging to donate £1 for every customer that signed up for e-billing, a campaign aimed at converting the company's 20,000-strong customer base from paper bills to a more environmentally friendly alternative.
