Daisy Communications has donated almost £7,500 to The Prince's Trust following months of fundraising.
|
The trust's commercial director for the North West, Richard Marsh,
visited Daisy's offices, on the Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson, on
Monday to be presented with a cheque for £7,426.
The money had been raised following fundraising activities undertaken between April and October this year.
At the beginning of October Daisy organised a charity raffle, raising
£3,000 after donating a signed England shirt, signed football and a
bottle of champagne.
In addition, the communication firm donated an additional £4,426 after
pledging to donate £1 for every customer that signed up for e-billing,
a campaign aimed at converting the company's 20,000-strong customer
base from paper bills to a more environmentally friendly alternative.
