Who said "it's all work and no play"? daisy injects a pinch of fun and a dash of physical exercise into its break times.
|
With the recent additions of an X-Box 360 and a 32 inch HD television
in each of the company’s two canteens, staff are provided with an
alternative pastime for enjoying a break from work.
And in case you were worried that minds would be boggled by sitting in
front of a games console while they weren’t sitting in front of
computer monitors, the company has also bought a table tennis table for
those with excess energy and a competitive edge.
The new leisure facilities join the highly popular widescreen
televisions strategically positioned around the building that keep
employees entertained throughout the day with sport, music and news,
the pool table and the internet café.
Investing in making the working environment a more relaxing place for
his employees, CEO Matthew Riley has said it is no more than the Daisy
staff deserve.
“I think it is important that people who work here can fully enjoy
their lunch hours and break times. Providing people with something to
do in their break allows them to recharge and switch off, meaning they
get back to work raring to go.
“Providing incentives and rewarding Daisy staff is important. The
people that work for this company are brilliant and they deserve
treating.”
