St George's Day |

What us red and white and has 250 legs? The answer, staff at Lancashire-based daisy. On Monday staff at the communications firm donned the nation's colours for a St George's Day celebration in the office.Starting the week with a burst of colour, the company's head office Daisy House, on Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, was adorned with flags from top to toe, all PC's given an England flag screensaver and the entrance decorated with bunting. And pleased to be able to dress down for a day, all staff ditched the usual working attire and stripped their wardrobes for their red and white togs. Chief executive officer Matthew Riley said: "St George's Day never gets celebrated in the same way as the other home nations' patron saints' days so we thought we'd do something about it. "We decided we'd decorate the offices, rally the daisy staff to come out in their red and white gear and have a bit of fun." |
