2009

  • Company completes acquisition of 3,700 customers from telecoms reseller 4com
  • Reverse takeover of Freedom4, acquisition of Vialtus, leads to flotation of Daisy Group Plc on Alternative Investment Market. 
  • Daisy Group completes the acquisition of Eurotel, AT Communications and Redstone Telecom.

 

2008

  • Placed 18th in Deloitte’s Fast50 chart, no.1 in the North West – following placement in 2007, continued growth recognised
  • 17th and 18th acquisitions completed – customer numbers increase to 26,000


 

2007

  • Daisy e-billing – launch of campaign to convert all customers on to environmentally friendly method of billing
  • Placed 28th in Deloitte’s Fast50 chart for outstanding growth of 8021%


2006

  • Accredited with BSi approved billing – an accreditation recognising proper management and control of billing capabilities.
  • Acquisition of Logicom Systems – customer numbers increase to 16,000


2005

  • Placed no.1 in The Sunday Times’ Tech Track as fastest growing technology company in the UK
  • 3rd and 4th acquisitions completed – a further 2,500 customer join Daisy


2004

  • Move into 20,000sq ft purpose built office complex in Lancashire
  • First customer base acquisitions take place


2003

  • Awarded ISO14001 accreditation for ‘environment management systems
  • Company reports first profit with turnover increasing to more than £2.5m


2002

  • Awarded ISO9001/2000 for ‘quality management systems’
  • Awarded ‘Investors in People’ - the national standard setting out good practice for the training and development of staff


2001

  • Daisy established in Nelson, Lancashire, by founder and CEO Matthew Riley
